OCR: Personal Action Editor Instructions You may edit five components of a personal action: Type Whether the action is a NORMAL Action or a TALKTYPE. Verb The actual action VERB (as shown by typing ACTIONS) . Response : What is shown on YOUR screen after you use the action. Singular: What everyone else sees when action is used BY ITSELF. Plural What everyone else sees when action is used WITH A USERNAME for a NORMAL Action, or WITH TEXT if the action is a TALKTYPE. If you enter N/A as either a SINGULAR or PLURAL, that option is DISABLED . The following tokens may be used to further customize the display. These tokens are used in the SINGULAR TEXT and PLURAL TEXT components of a Personal Action. Unless specified, each token will work for both the SINGULAR and PLURAL Contexts. {m = "me", or the handle of the SENDER of the action. %h = "his" or "her", depending on the gender of the SENDER. e = "he" or "she", depending on the gender of the SENDER. %f = "himself" or "herself", depending on the gender of the SENDER. %y = "you", or the handle of the person that the action is targetted at. Works only with NORMAL Actions in the PLURAL Context. %S S' or 'r", depending on who the text is being shown to. For example, %y%s. This would display "your" to the recipient and "Joe's to everybody else. This is the only useful application for %s, although it will work anywhere within a personal action. NOTE: The SINGULAR and PLURAL texts for personal actions _MUST_ contain the %m token! PubColour (TM) is valid within Personal Actions. If you need help with PubColour (TM), type COLOURHELP from the main TOP prompt (the one that displays your handle). All text will appear exactly as shown, with the obvious exception of the tokens (above). In addition, the text for Plural TalkTypes will be prefixed with "From " and suffixed with a colon, a space, and the text that follows the verb for that action.
